The first piece of work I commissioned from Mavis Nwokobia was a cartoon of penguins depicting each of my interests, so detailed and yet not fussy. Various mediums used , a 3D piece that I continue to enjoy as it still feels new.

Having followed this artist for many years my latest commission was a wonderful oil painting, lights reflecting on water and a path and scene that I can get lost in , feeling as though I am genuinely enjoying the freedom of that walk but a calmness evoked by a subtle use of colour and texture.

Having bought artwork from  various parts of the world it is this artist that I am ‘drawn’ back to each time for any new commission. Her work truly represents my ideas whether scenery, cartoon or my pets. A gifted artist.
